High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
Is a type of training style that involves repeated bouts of high intensity effort (80-90% of max. heart rate) followed by varied recovery times.
It is highly recommended that you have a good base of muscular strength (minimum 4-6 weeks) before commencing the class.
Exercises are designed to strengthen the major muscle groups of the body with an element of cardiovascular exercises included. If you have any chronic injuries or disease, please talk to the Exercise Physiologists/ Physiotherapist prior to beginning the class.
