Jennifer Wells is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with over 20 years experience working in assessment and therapeutic roles with a variety of mental health concerns across a number of settings.
These have included Community Mental Health and Forensic Mental Health in Tasmania, as a Senior Psychologist for Corrections in Brisbane and for 16 years as the Psychology Professional Lead for the Forensic Mental Health Service in QLD.
She has recently returned to Tasmania and has extensive experience working with people who present with difficulties with their mood, anxiety, trauma, personality issues as well as people whose behaviour has placed them in contact with the courts.
Therapeutically she works in an eclectic way using techniques from CBT, DBT and Good Lives frameworks. She is able to provide psychometric assessment including assessment of intellectual disability.
