Josie returned home to Tasmania after studying a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics in Canberra. She has worked in private practice since 2018 and also volunteers for the Tasmanian branch of Dietitians Australia’s Engagement and Development Committee.
In her free time she enjoys hiking and painting, and is an enthusiastic home cook.
Josie enjoys helping people gain a greater understanding of the role nutrition plays in their health and sense of well-being, using evidence-based recommendations. She likes to promote a balanced approach, empowering people with options for their food choices which are delicious and good for them.
Josie has an interest in:
- Gastrointestinal health; particularly irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and FODMAPs
- Women’s Health issues; including fertility, prenatal and postnatal nutrition, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
