Psych.; Grad. Dip. Psych.; MAPS. Amanda trained in Psychology at Monash University and continued her post graduate studies at Queensland University of Technology. Amanda is a highly regarded psychologist with over 20 years’ experience.

Amanda has a unique blend of academic expertise and practical experience, complemented by a truly caring psychologist-patient relationship that promotes client results, well-being, and quality of life.

Amanda has specialist psychology training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Regulation (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy.

Amanda treats depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, stress management, conflict resolution adolescents and adults. Her treatment programs are always personalised for individual clients to guide improvement over both short term consultation periods and long term personal development periods.

Amanda also holds degrees in Music, Fine Arts and Education. Her interests outside of psychology include classical guitar, cello, expressionist painting, running, gardening and family.
